Xyntek is seeking entrepreneurial, dedicated and motivated employees that are interested in joining a fast-paced Engineering & Technical Integration Services Team. The ideal candidates will be involved in all aspects of process control integration projects ranging from requirements definition, design, integration, and project management activities.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will provide project support and oversight on various automation projects, platforms, equipment and systems including but not limited to PLC, SCADA, Machine Vision, manufacturing equipment, packaging equipment, enterprise systems etc.

Project activities will include:

  • Support of project coordination, communications and oversight of day-to-day project activities 
  • Communication with project leads and clients to define project scope and requirements 
  • Interaction with project teams on implementation of technical solutions
  • Manages discipline specific and/ or equipment related capital projects
  • Assists in preparing capital project approval forms for senior management approval
  • Support team in the development of system life cycle documentation including user requirements definition, automated system architecture functional and detailed design including both software/hardware requirements
  • Support system startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
  • Support system Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning activities
  • Support system validation activities include execution of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols
  • Potential to assist in programming and configuring of automated controls systems including but not limited to PLC, OPC Servers, SCADA, Historians, SPC, Machine Vision, etc.
  • Support of instrumentation changes & loop tuning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/manage small to mid-size projects.
  • Experience with automated systems deployments in Life Sciences industry (Pharma / Biotech manufacturing / packaging)
  • Experience with control automation platforms including Rockwell FTView SE, Rockwell Historian, Rockwell Batch, Rockwell Vantage Point, Rockwell Transaction Manager Automation experience is preferred
  • Experience in interfacing with construction contractors is a plus
  • AutoCad skills is a plus for Electrical & P&ID
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required
  • Use of Windows/MS Office, MS Project, Outlook, general office productivity software
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter with hands-on work inclination
